After two fantastic years, the Cringleford Cup returns for 2026 — bigger, better, and even more international!

This exciting two-day youth football tournament brings together over 1,000 players from U8 to U15 for a weekend of fast-paced, inclusive football. Played on top-quality grass and 3G pitches with qualified referees and visiting teams from across the UK and abroad, the Cringleford Cup 2026 promises a true international experience and a fantastic celebration of grassroots football.

Tournament Format

  • Inclusive format for all teams
  • Maximum game time with minimal waiting
  • Played on quality grass and 3G surfaces
  • Saturday - everyone team plays in a final
  • Sunday - tiered tournament based on Saturday results
  • Winner trophies, medals, and special player awards
  • Free team photo and VEOcam match recording (subject to availability)

Day 1: 2 x groups of 8, with each team playing 7 group games. Every team then plays in a final for a trophy against the corresponding positioned team in the other group (1st v 1st through to 8th v 8th).

Day 2: split into two ability tier tournaments based on results from the Saturday. 2 x groups of 4, with every team progressing to the quarter final. Then traditional knock out semi final and final (including 3rd v 4th playoff)

Playing Time

Each team will play 12–14 games over the weekend, totalling 150–180 minutes of football.

Age Groups, Format & Cost

  • U8 & U9 – 5v5 – £99 per team (two days)
  • U10 to U15 – 7v7 – £129 per team (two days)
  • 2025/26 season age bands
  • Less than £7 per player per day
  • Boys, girls, and mixed teams welcome
  • Girls’ teams may play in the age group below if preferred

Accommodation

On‑site options from £3.50 per person per night for camping, and from £39.75 per person per night for twin rooms on Half Board (hot breakfast and two‑course dinner with drinks). Off‑site hotel and holiday park options are also nearby.

Golf, crazy golf, and a driving range within a 5‑minute walk. Norwich city centre is 10 minutes away. Beaches are within 30 minutes.
